Sometimes you come across a song that is so criminally unknown or underrated that, well, it’s almost a crime in itself. All it took was one listen, and I was instantly hooked. It wouldn’t be a surprise to me that the song most likely was a top ten hit at some point or another. What did surprise me was the extremely low amount of views for the music video on YouTube after four years. It’s criminally unfair. There are so many terrible music videos and songs that have millions of hits, and this one is at only 39K. Obviously, YouTube views aren’t the only metric to measure a song’s ultimate success because fortunately, I’m happy to discover that she did a lot better on Spotify with over 1.7 million streams!

In episode #16, we are heading back to Japan with Miida and her hit single, Utopia. This song is so damn chill and catchy. I can picture myself just roaming the streets of Japan by myself with this song in my headphones. It also feels like one of those songs that I swear I must have heard from somewhere before.
